Terms of Sale

ParaisDesign (paraisdesign.com) is operated by Parais Gergely, sole proprietor, Hungary, registered seat 8045 Isztimér, Jókai utca 3., Hungary, registration number 62671981, tax number 92279441-1-27, email hello@paraisdesign.com ("we", "us"). Full details are in the Legal notice.

Orders are paid through Lemon Squeezy (Sold through Link, LLC (formerly Lemon Squeezy, LLC), 222 South Main Street, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, UT 84101, USA), which acts as the merchant of record: it sells the order to you, charges any sales tax or VAT, takes the payment and sends your receipt. For the payment step its Buyer Terms also apply. We create the artwork, grant the license and deliver the files.

Each product is one or more digital files of an artwork (high-resolution JPG or PNG), delivered by download. A print pack contains one file per listed proportion. No physical item is printed or shipped. The files, their format and, where stated, the print size and proportions are shown on the product page before you buy.

The artworks are made with generative AI image tools, then selected and prepared for print by us. The room pictures on the site are mockups that show the poster in a setting; frames, furniture and printing are not part of the purchase.

You add posters to the cart, where you can review and remove items. Before you continue you must tick two boxes: that you accept these Terms and the License Terms, and that you want the files immediately (see section 6). You are then taken to the Lemon Squeezy checkout, where you enter your email and payment details and can correct them before you pay.

The contract is made when the payment is confirmed. The contract language is English. We do not file the contract as a separate document: these Terms (as in force on the day of your order) and your order emails are your record, and you can save or print this page at any time.

Prices on the site are in US dollars. Lemon Squeezy may show the price in your local currency and adds sales tax or VAT where it applies to you; the final amount is shown at the checkout before you pay. Payment methods (card, PayPal and others) are those offered by Lemon Squeezy at the checkout. Discount codes are applied at the checkout and cannot be combined unless the offer says so.

After the payment is confirmed you see the download links on the confirmation page and we email them to the address you gave at the checkout. Each purchased item has its own link; every file behind it can be downloaded 5 times within 30 days. Please save the files to your own device in that period. If the email does not arrive, use Resend my download links or write to us.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, this right ends once supply has started, if (a) you gave your prior express consent to immediate supply, (b) you acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal, and (c) we confirmed this to you on a durable medium. We collect (a) and (b) with an unticked box before checkout, and send (c) in the email with your download links. Without the box ticked an order cannot be placed.

This follows EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Art. 16(m)), Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 and, for the UK, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. It does not affect your rights if a file is faulty (section 7).

We are responsible for the files being as described and working on common devices (JPG and PNG files open in standard image viewers). If a file is corrupted, cannot be opened, or clearly differs from its description, tell us at hello@paraisdesign.com. We will first repair or replace it; if that is not possible or does not happen within a reasonable time, you can ask for a price reduction or a full refund. These are your statutory rights for digital content under EU Directive 2019/770 and the Hungarian Civil Code; nothing in these Terms limits them.

Print results depend on your printer, paper and settings, and on the print size you choose; a softer print at sizes larger than the product page states is not a fault of the file.

Buying a file gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license as set out in the License Terms. The files are licensed, not sold.

We are liable as required by the law that applies to your purchase. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, or for problems caused by your equipment, printer or print shop.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including for intentional or grossly negligent breach, and for harm to life, physical integrity or health.

Send complaints to hello@paraisdesign.com. We answer in writing within 30 days. Payment and receipt questions can also go to Lemon Squeezy support.

Consumers may also turn to a consumer conciliation board: the one competent for our seat is the Conciliation Board of Fejér County (Fejér Vármegyei Békéltető Testület) (8000 Székesfehérvár, Hosszúsétatér 4-6., Hungary, bekeltetes@fmkik.hu), or the board or consumer protection authority of your own place of residence. The EU online dispute resolution platform has closed and is no longer available.

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts of that country.

We may update these Terms for future orders. The version in force when you placed your order applies to that order. The version number and effective date are shown at the top of this page.
